NATIONAL LEAGUE
L.A. DODGERS 10 – Philadelphia 6… The Dodgers erased an early 5-0 deficit to down the Phillies. Max Muncy unloaded a walkoff grand slam in the bottom of the ninth inning. Miguel Vargas hit a two-run homer and Austin Barnes singled home two runs for L.A.

SAN DIEGO 7 – Cincinnati 1… Rookie Brett Sullivan stroked a two-run double and homered with a runner aboard as the Padres cruised past the Reds. Juan Soto capped the scoring with a bases-clearing double. Seth Lugo (2-1) gave up a run on seven hits over six innings.

Atlanta 14 – MIAMI 6… Marcell Ozuna blasted a grand slam in the top of the second inning and added a solo shot in the fifth to lead the Braves in their pounding of the Marlins. Ronald Acuña Jr belted a three-run homer. Michael Harris II and Austin Riley added two-run shots. Ozzie Albies also went deep.

WASHINGTON 2 – Chi. Cubs 1… CJ Abrams singled home Lane Thomas with a tie-breaking run in the bottom of the seventh inning and the Nationals made it stand in their win over the Cubs. Domonic Smith’s infield grounder in the second scored Joey Menesez with a tying run.

COLORADO 7 – Milwaukee 0… Kyle Freeland (3-3) pitched three-hit ball over five innings and got plenty of support in the Rockies’ thrashing of the Brewers. Alan Trejo’s double cleared the bases to cap a four-run bottom of the fourth inning. Kris Bryant homered with a runner aboard and Charlie Blackmon added a solo shot.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
N.Y. YANKEES 4 – Cleveland 3… Joe Trevino singled home Oswaldo Cabrera in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Yankees a come-from-behind win over the Guardians. Willie Calhoun homered and singled home the tying run in the ninth. Jake Bauers also went deep for New York.

CHI. WHITE SOX 6 – Minnesota 4… Eloy Jiménez singled home Anthony Benintendi with a tie-breaking run in the bottom of the seventh inning as the White Sox topped the Twins. Luis Robert Jr.’s three-run homer in the first staked Chicago to an early three-run lead that it couldn’t hold.

BOSTON 8 – Toronto 3…  The Red Sox rolled past the Blue Jays for their fifth straight win. Enmanuel Valdez’s infield single brought home two runs to break a tie in the bottom of the fifth inning. Triston Casas had three hits, including a pair of RBI singles.

KANSAS CITY 6 – Baltimore 0… Zak Greinke (1-4) pitched three-hit ball over five innings and got help from four Royals relievers in the shutout of the Orioles. Vinnie Pasquantino homered and produced a pair of run-scoring doubles.

Seattle 5 – OAKLAND 2 (10 innings)… The Mariners erased a two-run deficit after six innings to outlast the Athletics. Eugenio Suárez blasted a tie-breaking three-run homer and J.P. Crawford added a two-run single in the top of the 10th inning. A.J. Pollock tied the game with a solo homer in the ninth.

INTERLEAGUE
DETROIT 6 – N.Y. Mets 5… Eric Haase blasted a three-run homer in the bottom of the first inning and lined a go-ahead two-run single in the eighth to lead the Tigers past the Mets in the opener of a doubleheader. Javier Báez also homered for Detroit.

DETROIT 8 – N.Y. Mets 1… Matt Vierling homered with a runner aboard, Eric Haase added a solo shot and the Tigers pounded the Mets to sweep the twinbill. Michael Lorenzen (1-1) allowed just a run on four hits over seven innings.

TAMPA BAY 8 – Pittsburgh 1… Shane McClanahan (6-0) limited the Pirates to a run on five hits over six innings and the Rays breezed to the victory. Brandon Lowe hit a tie-breaking two-run double in the bottom of the third inning. Josh Lowe and Wander Franco smacked solo homers.

Arizona 12 – TEXAS 7… Geraldo Perdomo’s RBI double capped a five-run top of the seventh inning that carried the Diamondbacks past the Rangers. Christian Walker homered twice and knocked in four runs. Ketel Marte homered with a runner aboard and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. added a solo shot.

San Francisco 4 – HOUSTON 2… Logan Webb (2-5) held the Astros to two runs on five hits over 7-2/3 innings and the Giants scratched out a win. Austin Slater and Joey Bart each had a couple of hits and an RBI. Wilmer Flores cracked a solo homer.

L.A. Angels 6 – ST. LOUIS 4… Jake Lamb and Mike Trout hit solo homers and Anthony Rendon added an RBI single during a three-run top of the ninth inning that rallied the Angels past the Cardinals. Brandon Drury also went deep for L.A. Shohei Ohtani had three hits, including an RBI single.
