DALLAS 1 – St. Louis 0… The Stars clipped the Blues and moved a final step closer to the Central Division title. Goalie Jake Oettinger stopped 25 shots. Wyatt Johnston scored the game’s only goal early in the third period.
Boston 5 – MONTREAL 4… Charlie Coyle and David Pastrnak scored back-to-back goals in the third period to send the Bruins past the Canadiens. Pastrnak’s goal was his 61st of the season. Dmitry Orlov had a goal and an assist.
New Jersey 5 – WASHINGTON 4 (OT)… The Devils overcame a three-goal second-period deficit to outlast the Capitals. Luke Hughes netted the game-winner with 27 seconds left in regulation. Erik Haula scored twice in regulation.
COLUMBUS 3 – Pittsburgh 2 (OT)… Johnny Gaudreau found the net a minute into overtime to give the Blue Jackets a hard-fought win over the Penguins. Emil Bemstrom scored a tying goal on a power play with 3:25 left in regulation. Goalie Michael Hutchinson made 34 saves.
Toronto 3 – N.Y. RANGERS 2… The Maple Leafs came alive to score all three goals in the third period and top the Rangers. Noel Acciari netted the tie-breaking goal with 7:39 to go. Timothy Liljegren and William Nylander also scored for Toronto.
BUFFALO 4 – Ottawa 3 (OT)… Casey Mittelstadt’s goal 1:18 into overtime lifted the Sabres over the Senators. Henri Jokiharu and Victor Olofsson scored two minutes apart in the second period to give Buffalo a two-goal lead that it couldn’t hold. Goalie Craig Anderson made 30 saves.
Carolina 6 – FLORIDA 4… The Hurricanes shot their way past the Panthers and clinched the Metropolitan Division title. Brent Burns scored his second goal of the game as both teams scored four goals in the third period.
TAMPA BAY 5 – Detroit 0… Lightning goalie Brian Elliott stopped all 32 shots in shutting out the Red Wings. Alex Killorn netted the only goal Tampa Bay needed in the first period. Brayden Point scored twice during a four-goal third and reached 50 goals on the season.
COLORADO 4 – Winnipeg 2… Evan Rodrigues ripped through a tie-breaking goal early in the third period and Artturi Lehkonen added an empty-netter as the Avalanche put away the Jets. Lars Eller assisted on two goals.
NASHVILLE 4 – Minnesota 3 (OT)… Juuso Parssinen found the net at 2:44 to push the Predators past the Wild in a back-and-forth contest. Parssinen also assisted on Yakov Trenin’s third-period goal.
Philadelphia 5 – CHICAGO 4 (OT)… Ivan Provorov scored the winning goal at 3:09 of overtime as the Flyers outlasted the Blackhawks. Travis Konecny scored two goals and assisted on two others in regulation. Owen Tippett had a goal and an assist. Morgan Frost set up two goals.
EDMONTON 5 – San Jose 2… Mattias Janmark netted two goals in leading the Oilers past the Sharks. Leon Draisaitl had a goal and two assists. Stuart Skinner stopped 27 shots at goal.
Los Angeles 5 – ANAHEIM 3… Adrian Kempe scored twice in the third period to complete a hat trick and lead the Kings past the Ducks. Viktor Arvidsson had three assists.
Vancouver 5 – ARIZONA 4 (OT)… Conor Garland’s third goal of the game came at 1:19 of overtime and sent the Canucks past the Coyotes after Vancouver blew a three-goal second-period lead. Garland scored twice during a four-goal first period. J.T. Miller had a goal and an assist.
Vegas 3 – SEATTLE 1… Alec Martinez netted a tie-breaking goal in the second period and Chandler Stephenson added an empty-netter as the Golden Knights handled the Kraken. Reilly Smith opened the scoring midway through the first period.
