MLB Scores Monday 4-3

NATIONAL LEAGUE
MILWAUKEE 10 – N.Y. Mets… Brewers starter Freddy Peralta pitched two-hit ball over six innings and reliever Bryse Wilson completed the shutout of the Mets.  Brice Turang unloaded a grand slam and Brian Anderson added a two-run shot for Milwaukee.

CINCINNATI 7 – Chi. Cubs 6… Jason Vosler belted a go-ahead three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning and the Reds hung on to edge the Cubs. Kevin Newman stroked a two-run single for Cincinnati.

Atlanta 8 – ST. LOUIS 4… Ozzie Albies hit a go-ahead two-run homer and Ronald Acuña added a three-run shot during a five-run top of the second inning and the Braves went on to double up on the Cardinals. Austin Riley also went deep.

SAN DIEGO 5 – Arizona 4… Pinch-hitter David Dahl and Ha-Seong Kim hit back-to-back solo homers in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Padres a walkoff win over the Diamondbacks. Juan Soto hit a two-run homer in the first.

L.A. DODGERS 13 – Colorado 4… The Dodgers used a seven-run bottom of the fifth inning to erase a two-run deficit on their way past the Rockies. Chris Taylor, Jason Heyward and Will Smith hit two-run homers. James Outman knocked in three runs with a pair of triples.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
KANSAS CITY 9 – Toronto 5… The Royals built a 7-0 lead through four innings and never looked back in their win over the Blue Jays. MJ Melendez homered with a runner aboard. Nicky Lopez tripled home two runs. Bobby Witt Jr. also had two RBIs.

Baltimore 2 – TEXAS 0… Four pitchers combined on a one-hitter as the Orioles blanked the Rangers. Tyler Wells provided five innings of spotless relief. Baltimore’s runs came on solo homers by Gunnar Henderson and Jorge Mateo.

Detroit 7 – HOUSTON 6 (11 innings)… Matt Vierling cracked a two-run homer in the top of the 11th inning and the Tigers hung on to outlast the Astros. Riley Greene hit a tie-breaking solo homer in the seventh.

L.A. Angels 7 – SEATTLE 3… The Angels got two-run homers from Shohei Ohtani and Tyler Ward, along with a pair of run-scoring singles from Luis Rengifo, in downing the Mariners. Brandon Drury went 3-for-5 with an RBI double.

OAKLAND 12 – Cleveland 11 (10 innings)… Jose Ramirez came through with a go-ahead RBI single in the top of the 11th inning, Amed Rosario scored on a wild pitch and the Indians held on to outslug the Athletics. Jerry Naylor singled home a run and homered for Cleveland.

INTERLEAGUE
San Francisco 12 – CHI. WHITE SOX 3… David Villar hit two of the Giants’ seven home runs and had five RBIs in the Giants’ thrashing of the White Sox. Michael Conforto, Thairo Estrada, Joc Pederson, Bryce Johnson and Mike Yastrzemski also went deep. Anthony DeSclafani pitched three-hit ball over six scoreless innings.

MINNESOTA 11 – Miami 1… Max Kepler homered to lead off the game, Joey Gallo added a three-run shot and the Twins rolled past the Marlins. Starter Trevor Mahle allowed a run on five hits over five innings. Nestor Cortes surrendered a run on seven hits over five innings.

Tampa Bay 6 – WASHINGTON 2… The Rays cruised past the Nationals for their fourth straight win to open the season. Drew Rasmussen pitched two-hit ball over six shutout innings. Luke Raley homered twice and knocked in three runs.

N.Y. YANKEES 8 – Philadelphia 1… Anthony Rizzo homered with a runner aboard to spark a five-run bottom of the fifth inning and bury the Phillies. Gleyber Torres homered and singled home a run for the Yankees. Franchy Cordero also drove in two runs.

Pittsburgh 7 – BOSTON 6… Jason Delay hit a tie-breaking solo homer and Bryan Reynolds added his second homer of the game in the top of the fourth inning to give the Pirates the lead for good in their win over the Red Sox. Canaan Smith-Njigba stroked a two-run double.
