NATIONAL LEAGUE
WASHINGTON 4 – Atlanta 1… The Nationals pushed across all four runs in the bottom of the first inning and breezed past the Braves. Starter Mackenzie Gore allowed just a run on three hits over 5-1/3 innings.

N.Y. Mets 5 – MIAMI 1… Tommy Pham blasted a three-run homer and doubled home a run to lead the Mets past the Marlins. Kodai Senga held Miami to a run on three hits over 5-1/3 innings in his Major League debut.

CINCINNATI 3 – Pittsburgh 1… Solo homers by Jason Vosler and TJ Friedl pushed the Reds past the Pirates. Graham Ashcroft allowed just a run on four hits over seven innings.

Milwaukee 9 – CHI. CUBS 5… Jesse Winkler stroked a two-run single to spark a five-run top of the sixth inning and lifted a sacrifice fly as the Brewers outslugged the Cubs. Garrett Mitchell knocked in two runs with a single and a triple.

Arizona 2 – L.A. DODGERS 1… Jake McCarthy bunted home with a tie-breaking run in the top of the ninth inning and the Diamondbacks held on to edge the Dodgers. Geraldo Perdomo doubled home a tying run in the fifth.

SAN DIEGO 3 – Colorado 1… Trent Grisham homered with the bases empty and Xavier Bogaerts added a two-run shot as the Padres scored all three runs in the bottom of the third inning and held off the Rockies. Seth Lugo surrendered a run on four hits over seven innings.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
TAMPA BAY 5 – Detroit 1… Jeffrey Springs pitched six no-hit innings and got plenty of support as the Rays completed a three-game sweep of the Tigers. Randy Arozarena homered for Tampa Bay.

BOSTON 9 – Baltimore 5… Adam Duvall had three hits, including a two-run single, in helping the Red Sox get past the Orioles. Enrique Hernandez homered and singled home a run.

Chi. White Sox 6 – HOUSTON 3… Yoan Moncada hit a two-run homer and Luis Robert Jr. smacked a solo shot as the White Sox doubled up on the Astros. Mike Clevinger pitched three-hit ball over six scoreless innings.

Minnesota 7 – KANSAS CITY 4… Joey Gallo went 3-for-4 with a pair of solo homers and four RBIs in leading the Twins past the Royals. Joe Ryan allowed a run on three hits over six innings.

L.A. Angels 6 – OAKLAND 0… Tyler Anderson pitched four-hit ball over seven innings and two relievers completed the Angels’ blanking of the Athletics. Logan O’Hope cracked a three-run homer for L.A. Mike Trout homered with a runner aboard and Shohei Ohtani added a solo shot.

Cleveland 6 – SEATTLE 5 (10 innings)… A throwing error by Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh allowed Jose Ramirez to score the decisive run in the top of the 10th inning and send the Guardians past the Mariners. Mike Zunino blasted a three-run homer.

INTERLEAGU
N.Y. YANKEES 6 – San Francisco 0… Jhony Brito limited the Giants to two hits over five innings and three Yankees relievers did the rest. Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton homered for New York.

ST. LOUIS 9 – Toronto 4… Nolan Gorman connected for a pair of two-run homers to highlight the Cardinals’ pounding of the Blue Jays. Brendan Donovan and Alec Burleson also went deep. Jordan Montgomery gave up a run on three hits over five innings.

TEXAS 2 – Philadelphia 1… Marcus Semien singled home Mitch Garver with a tie-breaking run in the bottom of the fifth inning and the Rangers hung on to finish off a sweep of the Phillies. Josh Jung homered for Texas.
