Blues Out Of Postseason Contention

Boston 4 – ST. LOUIS 3… The Bruins recovered to outlast the Blues after blowing a three-goal second-period lead. Charlie Coyle netted the lone goal in the shootout. Tyler Bertuzzi and Oskar Steen scored 44 seconds apart in the second.

 

N.Y. Rangers 5 – WASHINGTON 3… K’Andre Miller had a goal and an assist as the Rangers downed the Capitals. Artemi Panarin assisted on three goals.

CAROLINA 2 – N.Y. Islanders 1… The Hurricanes eased past the Islanders after spotting them an early goal. Jordan Martinook scored the go-ahead goal in the third period. Jesperi Kotkaniemi also found the net for Carolina.

COLUMBUS 4 – Ottawa 3 (OT)… Kirill Marchenko netted the winning goal 18 seconds into overtime as the Blue Jackets outlasted the Senators. Boone Jenner scored a tying goal in the third period.

PITTSBURGH 4 – Philadelphia 2… Rickard Rakell scored a pair of first-period goals to give the Penguins the lead for good in their win over the Flyers. Casey DeSmith stopped 31 shots at goal.

Detroit 5 – TORONTO 2… Olli Maata had a goal and an assist to help the Red Wings get past the Maple Leafs. Dylan Larkin scored his 30th goal in the third period and added am empty-netter. Goalie Alex Nedeljkovic made 43 saves.

WINNIPEG 6 – New Jersey 1… Nikolaj Ehlers netted two goals in leading the Jets in their romp over the Devils. Pierre-Luc Dubois had a goal and an assist. Connor Hellebuyck made 31 stops at goal.

CALGARY 5 – Anaheim 4… The Flames erased an early two-goal deficit in fighting their way past the Ducks. They got third-period goals from Milan Lucic and Michael Stone. Tyler Toffoli set up two goals.

Los Angeles 4 – VANCOUVER 1… Alex Iafallo scored two goals to lead the Kings past the Canucks. Arthur Kaliyev also found the net and Blake Lizotte capped the scoring with an empty-netter.
