CHARLOTTE 110 – Dallas 104… The Hornets built a big lead early and held off the Mavericks. Gordon Hayward scored 22 points to lead a balanced scoring attack. P.J. Washington had 21 points and 12 rebounds. Mark Williams powered his way to 15 points and 16 boards. Luka Doncic’s 40 points weren’t enough for Dallas.
Chicago 118 – L.A. LAKERS 108… The Bulls cruised past the Lakers and spoiled the return of LeBron James from injury. Zach LaVine scored a game-high 32 points. DeMar DeRozan had 17 points and 10 assists.
Memphis 123 – ATLANTA 119… The Grizzlies got 27 points from Ja Morant and 24 from Desmond Bane in fighting off the Hawks. Four other players scored in double figures for Memphis.
BOSTON 137 – San Antonio 93… The Celtics shook off a slow start to blow away the Spurs. Jaylen Brown led all scorers with 41 points. Malcolm Brogdon delivered 20 points off the bench.
CLEVELAND 108 – Houston 91… The Cavaliers held the Rockets to 11 fourth-quarter points in pulling away with the win. Jarrett Allen scored 24 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Donovan Mitchell tossed in 22 points.
ORLANDO 119 – Brooklyn 106… Cole Anthony came off the bench to score 21 points and lead eight players in double figures as the Magic wore out the Nets. Franz Wagner had 19 points and 10 boards.
TORONTO 114 – Washington 104… The Raptors led from start to finish in their thrashing of the Wizards. O.G. Anunoby pumped in 29 points and Fred VanVleet added 28. Pascal Siakam finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Jakob Poeltl had 12 points and as many boards.
Oklahoma City 118 – PORTLAND 112… The Thunder overcame an early double-digit deficit to upend the Trail Blazers. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored a game-high 31 points. Jalen Williams added 23 points. Josh Giddey pitched in 17 points and rebounds.
Minnesota 99 – GOLDEN STATE 96… Karl-Anthony Towns knocked a tie-breaking 3-pointer with 11 seconds remaining to push the Timberwolves past the Warriors. The basket was set up by Kyle Anderson’s steal of a Draymond Green pass. Naz Reed’s 23 points led Minnesota. Rudy Gobert had 10 points and 18 boards.
