Pittsburgh 5 – COLORADO 2… Sidney Crosby scored his 30th goal to break a scoreless tie and spark a three-goal second period that carried the Penguins past the Avalanche. Jeff Carter scored twice for Pittsburgh. Jake Guentzel had a goal and an assist.
EDMONTON 4 – Arizona 3 (OT)… Connor McDavid scored his 60th goal of the season and second of the game on a breakaway at 3:29 of overtime to lift the Oilers over the Coyotes. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored Edmonton’s other two goals. Leon Draisaitl assisted on all four Edmonton goals.
