Blues Shut Out Jets

ST. LOUIS 3 – Winnipeg 0… Blues goalie Joel Hofer stopped all 33 shots in shutting out the Jets. Kasperi Kapanen had a goal and an assist. Nathan Walker and Jakub Vrana also scored for St. Louis.

 

Boston 7 – BUFFALO 0… Seven different players found the net and goalie Jeremy Swayman stopped all 25 shots as the Bruins clobbered the Sabres. Jake DeBrusk scored a goal and assisted on three others. Patrice Bergeron had a goal and two assists.

MINNESOTA 5 – Washington 3… Matt Boldy scored three goals in his second career hat trick and the Wild held off the Capitals. Marcus Johansson set up two goals.

VEGAS 7 – Columbus 2… Jack Eichel scored two of his three goals in the third period as the Golden Knights skated past the Blue Jackets. Alex Pietrangelo had four assists. Goalie Jiri Patera made 35 saves.

N.Y. RANGERS 7 – Nashville 0… Defenseman K’Andre Miller scored twice and had two assists during a six-goal first period and the Rangers never looked back in their pounding of the Predators. Artemi Panarin had a goal and two assists. Jaroslav Halak stopped all 22 shots at goal.

New Jersey 5 – TAMPA BAY 2… The Devils cruised past the Lightning after spotting them an early two-goal lead. Jesper Bratt tied the game with back-to-back goals less than 3 minutes apart in the second period and added an empty-netter to cap a hat trick. New Jersey also got goals from Nico Hischier and Nolan Foote.

Vancouver 2 – ANAHEIM 1… Elias Pettersson had a goal and an assist as the Canucks took a two-goal lead into the third period and held off the Ducks. Anaheim managed just 18 shots on Vancouver goalie Collin Delia.
