OTTAWA 6 – Detroit 2… The Senators closed with five straight goals to streak past the Red Wings. Claude Giroux scored a goal and assisted on three others. Thomas Chabot had a goal and two assists.
Vancouver 5 – DALLAS 4 (OT)… The Canucks recovered to outlast the Stars after letting a two-goal second-period lead slip away. Andre Kuzmenko found the net 48 seconds into overtime. Anthony Beauvillier scored two goals and had an assist.
Boston 3 – EDMONTON 2… Pavel Zacha netted a tie-breaking goal with 30 seconds left in the second and the Bruins made it stand in edging the Oilers. Tomas Nosek and Nick Foligno scored first -period goals. Dmitry Orlov set up two goals.
COLORADO 3 – Vegas O… Avalanche goalie Alexandar Georgiev stopped all 31 shots in shutting out the Golden Knights. Mikko Rantanen scored the only goal Colorado needed 14 seconds into the game and added a second-period goal to raise his season total to 40.
ANAHEIM 4 – Chicago 2… Max Jones found the net with 18 seconds remaining in the second period to break a tie and Troy Terry added a third-period goal to send the Ducks past the Blackhawks. Mason McTavish had three assists.
