Blues Take Down Devils

ST. LOUIS 4 – New Jersey 2… Brayden Schenn and Jordan Kyrou each had a goal and an assist in leading the Blues past the Devils. Robert Thomas had two assists. Jordan Binnington made 34 saves at goal.

 

CAROLINA 6 – Montreal 2… Seth Jarvis scored two of the Hurricanes’ four unanswered goals in the third period to complete a hat trick and bury the Canadiens. Sebastian Aho had a goal and an assist.

COLUMBUS 3 – Winnipeg 1… The Blue Jackets cruised past the Jets after spotting them an early goal. Patrik Lane scored a power-play goal and had an assist. Goalie Joonas Korpisalo stopped 37 shots at goal.

Florida 6 – WASHINGTON 3… Six different players found the net as the Panthers doubled up on the Capitals. Defenseman Marc Staal found the net for the first time in 76 games. Carter Verhaeghe set up two goals.

Boston 5 – NASHVILLE 0… Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman stopped all 28 shots in shutting out the Predators. Brad Marchand netted the only goal Boston needed in the first period. Patrice Bergeron had a goal and an assist.

Detroit 5 – CALGARY 2… Dominik Kubalik’s second goal of the game broke a tie late in the second period and the Red Wings scored twice more in the third to put away the Flames. Tyler Bertuzzi added a goal and two assists. Dylan Larkin assisted on three goals.

SEATTLE 6 – Philadelphia 2… Yanni Gourde netted two goals and assisted on another as the Kraken skated past the Flyers. Matty Beniers and Justin Schultz each had a goal and an assist. Jordan Eberle set up two goals.

VEGAS 2 – San Jose 1… William Carrier found the net with 18 seconds remaining to lift the Golden Knights over the Sharks. Paul Cotter scored a tying goal earlier in the period. Goalie Adin Hill stopped 26 shots.
