The Kirksville Tigers opened with an 8-0 lead and were never threatened in a 79-47 win over Moberly Tuesday at Tiger Gym. As usual, the Tigers best quarter was the third, outscoring the Spartans 25-7 in the period to grab a 65-29 lead. The Tigers had five players in double figures, Keaton Anderson with 20, 17 from Cole Kelly, 16 from Isaac Danielson, 11 from Justin McKim, and 10 from Jace Kent, who drained two three’s back to back in the 3rd. KHS only turned the ball over six times on their way to climbing to 15-6 on the season and 6-2 in the NCMC. The Tigers will be part two of Friday’s doubleheader at Fulton on KIRX.
