The Kirksville Tigers rode another strong third quarter on their way to a 69-45 win over Boonville Tuesday at the Southern Boone Classic. Isaac Danielson took charge in the first, scoring 11 points, and went 5 for 6 at the free throw line. He finished with 28 points and 9 out of 11 at the stripe. Cole Kelly caught fire in the third quarter with 10 points to help KHS extend the lead. The Tigers would outscore Boonville 18-8 in the third. Kelly finished with 13 points, 11 for Keaton Anderson. The Tigers only turned the ball over 6 times. The Tigers move to 13-5 on the year and 1-0 in pool play before a tough assignment against Battle Wednesday at 8:30 on KIRX.
