The Kirksville Lady Tigers led from start to finish and beat Capital City 58-40 Tuesday at the Southern Boone Tournament. KHS went on a 9-0 run at the end of the 1st and into the 2nd with two three’s by Channing Totta and one by Elli Porter. Alia Pucket had a great game for Kirksville, filling in for the injured Lauren Fortney, scoring 6 buckets down low and finished with 12 points. Paishynce Fouts with a great game, 13 points with 3 three pointers. Porter finished the night with 12, Jersey Herbst with 10. KHS gets to 9-9 on the year and 1-0 in pool play at the tournament. Next, the ladies take on the host school Southern Boone Wednesday at 7:00 on KIRX.
