N.Y. RANGERS 6 – Florida 2… Mika Zibanejad scored two goals and assisted on another as the Rangers skated past the Panthers. Adam Fox added a goal and two assists. Artemi Panarin assisted on three goals.
TORONTO 5 – N.Y. Islanders 2…. John Tavares scored a tying goal in the second period and spark a four-goal barrage that carried the Maple Leafs past the Islanders. William Nylander found the net twice and had two assists. Justin Holl set up two goals.
Buffalo 3 – DALLAS 2 (OT)… Rookie Owen Porter’s first goal of the season came 56 seconds into overtime and lifted the Sabres over the Stars. Rasmus Dahlin and Victor Olofsson also scored for Buffalo.
CALGARY 4 – Columbus 2 (OT)… The Flames fought off the Blue Jackets after letting an early two-goal lead slip away. Dillon Dube netted the winning goal at 2:25 of overtime. Andrew Mangiapane scored a goal and had two assists.
