The Kirksville Lady Tigers held on to beat Macon 40-35 Tuesday night at Macon. The Lady Tigers led by ten at halftime, and overcame a rough 3rd quarter by making 7 out of 7 free throws in the 4th quarter to pull out the win. Elli Porter had two of those free throws and canned a huge fourth quarter three pointer. Channing Totta led the way with 12 points, Porter finished with 9. KHS only committed 12 turnovers compared to Macon’s 17. KHS climbs to 8-7 on the year and get ready for a Courtwarming battle with Mexico Friday at Tiger Gym.
