The Bulldog Basketball team halted their three-game losing streak with a second half rally and defeated Southwest Baptist 81-71 on Monday afternoon in Pershing Arena. Elijah Hazekamp scored 25 points as the Bulldogs swept the season series over the Bearcats.
The game featured 12 lead changes and seven ties.
Truman would convert on all 10 free throw attempts in the final 50 seconds while taking advantage of some late turnovers by the Bearcats to pull away for the victory.
The Bulldogs went 18-of-20 at the line for the game and 12-of-12 in the second half.
Truman will play their next two on the road starting Thursday at Missouri S&T in Rolla.
