Blues Win

ST. LOUIS 2 – Ottawa 1… First-period goals by Jake Neighbours and Noel Acciari provided all the scoring the Blues needed in their defeat of the Senators. Goalie Jordan Binnington made 32 saves.

 

BOSTON 6 – Philadelphia 0… David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha both scored twice and had an assist to lead the Bruin in their stomping of the Flyers. David Krejci assisted on three goals. Goalie Josh Swayman stopped all 27 shots at goal.

Florida 4 – BUFFALO 1… Goals by Sam Bennett and Anton Lundell gave the Panthers the lead for good in their win over the Sabres. Carter Verhaege scored into an empty net and had an assist. Matthew Tkachuk set up three goals. Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky made 28 saves.

COLORADO 6 – Detroit 3… Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Maker each netted a pair of goals and the Avalanche doubled up on the Red Wings. MacKinnon had two assists and Makar added one.

New Jersey 4 – SAN JOSE 3 (SO)… Tomas Tatar scored the lone goal in the shootout to send the Devils past the Sharks. Jack Hughes netted a tying goal with 10 seconds left in regulation. Nico Hischier had a goal and an assist.

Tampa Bay 4 – SEATTLE 1… Goals by Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Nicolas Paul gave the Lightning a two-goal third-period lead and they got empty-netters from Brandon Hagel and Victor Hedman to bury the Kraken. Hagel also had an assist.

Dallas 4 – VEGAS 0… Stars goalie Jake Oettinger stopped all 27 shots in blanking the Golden Knights. Jamie Benn score the only goal Dallas needed early in the first period.

N.Y. Rangers 3 – COLUMBUS 1… Mika Zibanejad netted his 20th goal to open the scoring in the first period and the Rangers also got goals from Barclay Goodrow and Vitali Kravtsov in putting away the Blue Jackets. Kaapo Kakko assisted on two goals.

PITTSBURGH 4 – Anaheim 3 (OT)… Jake Guentzel scored 33 seconds into overtime to send the Penguins past the Ducks. Bryan Rust forced the extra period when he scored with 25 seconds left in the third period.

Washington 4 – N.Y. ISLANDERS 3 (OT)… The Capitals scored four straight goals beginning midway through the second period to erase a three-goal deficit and stun the Islanders. Dmitry Orlov netted the winning goal at 4:27 of regulation. T.J. Oshie scored a tying goal early in the third period and assisted on Orlov’s game-winner.

NASHVILLE 2 – Calgary 1… Roman Josi and Juuso Parssinen scored back-to-back goals in the first period and the Predators held off the Flames. Juuse Saros stopped 38 shots at goal.
