NHL Scores Wednesday 12-21

NHL SCOREBOARD…
DETROIT 7 – Tampa Bay 4… The Red Wings scored four third-period goals to bury the Lightning and snap their six-game skid. Michael Rasmussen scored two goals and assisted on two others. Dylan Larkin added two goals and an assist.

New Jersey 4 – FLORIDA 2… Jesper Bratt netted a pair of game-tying goals and Yegor Sharangovich’s third-period goal gave the Devils the lead for good in their win over the Panthers. Tomas Tatar added an empty-netter. Mackenzie Blackwood made 34 saves at goal. The win was New Jersey’s first after six straight losses.

COLORADO 2 – Montreal 1 (OT)… Mikko Rantanen found the net 1:51 into overtime to lift the Avalanche over the Canadiens. Rantanen also assisted on Artturi Lehkonen’s game-tying power-play goal early in the third period.

Nashville 4 – CHICAGO 2… The Predators closed with three straight goals to double up on the Blackhawks. Roman Josi and Thomas Novak scored third-period goals to provide the winning margin. Goalie Juuse Saros stopped 37 shots.

Edmonton 6 – DALLAS 3… Warren Foegele netted a tie-breaking goal midway through the third period and the Oilers scored twice more to pound the Stars. Mattias Janmark scored twice and had an assist. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins added a goal and two assists.

Minnesota 4 – ANAHEIM 1… Conor Dewar scored a tying goal late in the second period and Matt Boldy netted the first of three straight goals in the third to push the Wild past the Ducks. Boldy also assisted on two goals.

VEGAS 5 – Arizona 2… Mark Stone scored a power-play goal and a short-handed goal during a four-goal third period that carried the Golden Knights past the Coyotes. Stone also had an assist. Chandler Stephenson set up two goals.
