Lady Tigers Survive Over Fulton

Defense carried the Kirksville Lady Tigers past Fulton 44-26 at Tiger Gym Friday. KHS forced 18 Hornet turnovers while committing only eight of their own. The girls held Fulton without a point in the second quarter but only led 17-10 at halftime. KHS rode a strong 4th quarter to put the game away 44-26. Elli Porter finished with 20 points, and made 6 free throws in the fourth period. Kirksville overcame the absence of Jada Jackson who was out with an illness. Paishynce Fouts nailed a huge three pointer in the final period which took away any hope for Fulton. Fouts finished with 12 points. Kirksville climbs to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in the NCMC.
