Strong Second Half Propels Lady Tigers Past Mexico

The Kirksville Lady Tigers knocked off Mexico Tuesday on the road 49-39. Jada Jackson scored the final five points of the first half to pull KHS to within three at the break 19-16, then KHS outscored the Bulldogs 17-6 in the 3rd quarter and went on to win 49-39. Jackson finished the night with 14 points, Elli Porter also with 14 points, including 6 for 6 at the free throw line. Mexico’s Claire Hudson led all scorers with 18 points.
