Blues Pick Up Win

ST. LOUIS 1 – Nashville 0 (OT)… Brayden Schenn scored the game’s only goal at 2:23 of overtime to give the Blues a hard-fought win over the Predators. Jordan Binnington stopped all 25 shots at goal.

 

MONTREAL 2 – Calgary 1 (SO)… Nick Suzuki and Kirby Dach scored in the shootout to send the Canadiens past the Flames. Josh Anderson opened the scoring with a first-period goal. Goalie Jake Allen made 34 saves.

N.Y. RANGERS 4 – New Jersey 3 (OT)… The Rangers overcame a two-goal second-period deficit to outlast the Devils. Filip Chytil scored the winning goal at 2:15 of overtime. Vincent Trochek and Kaapo Kakko scored seven seconds apart to tie the game late in the second period.

Pittsburgh 2 – DALLAS 1… Evgeni Malkin found the net with 35 seconds remaining to lift the Penguins over the Stars. Pierre-Olivier Joseph scored a tying goal off a power-play late in the first period. Tristan Jarry made 26 saves at goal.

OTTAWA 3 – Anaheim 0… Senators goalie Cam Talbot stopped all 32 shots in shutting out the Ducks. Alex DeBrincat scored a pair of power-play goals for Ottawa.

MINNESOTA 2 – Edmonton 1… Frederick Gaudreau netted a tie-breaking goal midway through the second period and the Wild made it stand in edging the Oilers. Matt Boldy scored a power-play goal and assisted on Gaudreau’s goal. Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 20 shots.
