TORONTO 5 – Los Angeles 0… Maple Leafs goalie Ilya Samsonov stopped all 27 shots in shutting out the Kings. Mitch Marner extended his franchise-record points streak to 21 games with a second-period goal. William Nylander had a goal and an assist.
FLORIDA 5 – Detroit 1… Matthew Tkachuk scored a goal and assisted on another as the Panthers cruised past the Red Wings. Eetu Luostarinen lit the lamp to spark a four-goal second period.
DALLAS 4 – Ottawa 3 (OT)… Tyler Seguin found the net with 29 seconds left in overtime to lift the Stars over the Senators. Miro Heiskanen scored back-to-back goals in the first period to stake Dallas to a two-goal lead.
