Minnesota 6 – DALLAS 5 (SO)… The Wild recovered to outlast the Stars after blowing a four-goal third-period lead. Mats Zuccarello, Kirill Kaprizov and Fredrick Gaudreau scored in the shootout. Kaprizov also netted a power-play goal in regulation.
WINNIPEG 5 – Anaheim 2… The Jets came from two goals down to cruise past the Ducks. Morgan Barron scored the go-ahead goal in the third period. Nate Schmidt had a power-play goal and an assist.
Detroit 4 – COLUMBUS 2… Power-play goals by Dominik Kubalik and Lucas Raymond helped carry the Red Wings past the Blue Jackets. Filip Hronek assisted on two goals. Goalie Ville Husso made 32 saves.
BUFFALO 6 – San Jose 3… The Sabres scored three unanswered goals in the second period on their way to doubling up on the Sharks. Jack Quinn found the net twice. Dylan Cozens assisted on three goals.
N.Y. ISLANDERS 3 – Chicago 0… Islanders goalie Semyon Varlamov stopped all 21 shots in shutting out the Blackhawks. Matt Martin scored the only goal New York needed midway through the second. Zach Parise and Brock Nelson scored 43 seconds apart 5-1/2 minutes later.
