Georgeanna Kay Courtney (Nana or George) of Milan, Mo went to her heavenly home November 10th, 2022 .
Georgeanna was born March 30th, 1971 in Chillicothe, Mo to Donald Wayne Keithley and Mary Iona (Wells) Keithley. She married Michael Dean Courtney on May 25th, 1990. Together they had 3 sons.
Georgeanna was a Godly woman who loved her family tremendously. She was a natural caregiver and nurturer and made a career of it by caring for children in her daycare.
Georgeanna was a woman of many gifts and passions but most notably was her gift to sing. You can’t think of her without thinking of her beautiful voice. She loved singing on the platform at church, especially. She loved to hunt and fish with her husband and son, camping at the lake with her family, gardening and photography amongst many other things but the greatest joy in her life was raising her son.
Georgeanna is survived by her husband, Michael Courtney. Her son, Nathan Courtney. Her sister, Cricket McCollum (Doyle) Her brothers, Donnie Keithley (Dana) and Larry Keithley (Rhonda) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her twin sons, Caleb Dean Courtney and Jacob Michael Courtney. Her father, Donald Keithley and her mother, Mary Keithley.
A funeral service for Georgeanna will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan. Burial will follow at the Campground Cemetery, West of Milan.
