NATIONAL LEAGUE
PITTSBURGH 4 – Cincinnati 1… Miguel Andujar’s bases-clearing double broke a tie in the bottom of the seventh inning and carried the Pirates past the Reds. The game featured a duel between Pittsburgh starter Mitch Keller and his counterpart Hunter Greene, but neither got a decision.

Atlanta 8 – WASHINGTON 2…  The Braves rolled past the Nationals after spotting them a two-run lead and moved into a first place tie with the New York Mets atop the NL East. Ronald Acuña Jr. hit a pair of solo homers. Orlando Arcia also went deep. Michael Harris II legged out a two-run triple. Eddie Rosario added a two-run double.

Miami 6 – N.Y. METS 4… Jacob Stallings two-run single in the top of the fifth inning proved to be the difference in the Marlins’ win over the Mets. JJ Bieday’s two-run homer in the third staked Miami to a 4-0 lead. Pablo López (10-10) allowed three runs on five hits over six innings.

CHI. CUBS 2 – Philadelphia 1… Yan Gomes doubled home Ian Happ with a tie-breaking run in the bottom of the seventh inning and the Cubs made it stand in their win over the Phillies. Christopher Morel opened the scoring with a third-inning homer.

St. Louis 6 – MILWAUKEE 2… The Cardinals cruised past the Brewers to clinch the NL Central title. Miles Mikolas (12-13) limited Milwaukee to a run on four hits and fanned nine over six innings. Andrew Knizner drilled a two-run homer. Paul Goldschmidt lifted a sacrifice fly and singled home a run.

SAN FRANCISCO 5 – Colorado 2… Logan Webb (15-9) held the Rockies to a run on five hits over five innings and the Giants breezed to the win. Joc Pederson and J.D. Davis hit solo homers for San Francisco. Pederson also tripled home a run.

SAN DIEGO 4 – L.A. Dodgers 3 (10 innings)… Jorge Alfaro drew a walkoff bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 10th inning and the Padres outlasted the Dodgers. Wil Meyers staked San Diego to an early lead with a two-run single in the first.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
DETROIT 4 – Kansas City 2 (10 innings)… Harold Castro stroked a game-tying two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning and added an RBI single in the 10th to lift the Tigers over the Royals. Riley Greene’s run-scoring single put Detroit on the board in the eighth.

N.Y. Yankees 5 – TORONTO 2… Gleyber Torres produced three run-scoring singles in five at-bats to push the Yankees past the Blue Jays. Jameson Taillon (14-5) allowed two runs on seven hits over 7-1/3 innings.

MINNESOTA 4 – Chi. White Sox 0… Bailey Ober (2-3) pitched two-hit ball and struck out 10 over 7-1/3 innings and two relievers completed the shutout of the White Sox. Matt Wallner homered with a runner aboard for the Twins.

Tampa Bay 6 – CLEVELAND 5 (11 innings)… Harold Ramirez delivered a tie-breaking two-run double in the top of the 11th inning and the Rays held on to edge the Guardians. Ramirez also put Tampa Bay on the board with a game-tying RBI double in the fourth. Jose Siri homered with a runner aboard.

BOSTON 13 – Baltimore 9… The Red Sox pushed across five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to take the lead for good in their win over the Orioles. Tommy Pham drove in three runs and scored twice. Triston Casas went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer.

L.A. ANGELS 4 – Oakland 3… Jo Adell singled home Duffy with a tie-breaking run in the bottom of the eighth inning and the Angels made it stand in topping the Athletics. Both teams scored three runs in the second. Livan Soto went 2-for-3 with a sacrifice fly.

Texas 5 – SEATTLE 0… Six pitchers combined on a five-hitter as the Rangers blanked the Mariners. Josh Jung knocked in all five Texas runs with a pair of homers and a single.

INTERLEAGUE
HOUSTON 10 – Arizona 2… Jose Altuve hit two of the Astros’ five home runs and scored four times in their pounding of the Diamondbacks. Alex Bregman, Jeremy Peña and David Hensley also connected. Luis Garcia (14-8) surrendered a run on four hits over six innings.
