NATIONAL LEAGUE
L.A. Dodgers 3 – MIAMI 2 (10 innings)… Cody Bellinger scored a tie-breaking run in the top of the 10th inning on Freddie Freeman’s double and the Dodgers hung on to outlast the Marlins. Will Smith homered with a runner aboard for L.A

St. Louis 13 – CINCINNATI 4… Tyler O’Neill smacked a solo homer to spark a six-run top of the second inning and added a two-run shot to cap a four-run sixth to lead the Cardinals in their pounding of the Reds. Albert Pujols also homered with a runner aboard for St. Louis. Nolan Arenado hit a two-run double and Brandon Donovan contributed a two-run single.

MILWAUKEE 7 – Pittsburgh 5… Keston Hiura cracked a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Brewers a walkoff win over the Pirates. Garrett Mitchell’s two-run homer tied the game in the eighth after Milwaukee let a three-run lead slip away. Hunter Renfroe went 3-for-4 with a two-run double.

ARIZONA 13 – Philadelphia 7… The Diamondbacks erupted for six-run rallies in the bottom of the fourth and fifth innings to erase a 7-0 deficit and blow away the Phillies. Carson Kelly drove in four runs with a double and a single. Stone Garrett homered with the bases  empty and singled home a run.

San Diego 6 – SAN FRANCISCO 5… Brandon Drury hit a two-run homer to cap a three-run top of the first inning and singled home the decisive run in the fifth as the Padres squeaked out a win over the Giants. Mike Clevinger (5-5) allowed two runs on five hits over five innings.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
MINNESOTA 4 – Boston 2… The Twins eased past the Red Sox after spotting them an early two-run lead. They took the lead for good on Gio Urshela’s bases-clearing double in the bottom of the fifth inning. Luis Arraez had a couple of hits and an RBI.

L.A. ANGELS 4 – N.Y. Yankees 3… Jose Suarez (5-6) held the Yankees to two runs on three hits over six innings and the Angels held on for the victory. Shohei Ohtani hit a tie-breaking two-run homer in the bottom of the fifth inning. Luis Rengifo and Mike Ford also went deep for L.A.

INTERLEAGUE
TORONTO 5 – Chi. Cubs 4 (11 innings)… Danny Jansen put the Blue Jays on the board with a three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning and singled home Matt Chapman with the winning run in the 11th to lead the Blue Jays past the Cubs. Chapman singled home Cavan Biggio with the tying run in the eighth.
