MLB Scores Sunday 7-10

NATIONAL LEAGUE
ATLANTA 4 – Washington 3 (12 innings)… Austin Riley led off the bottom of the eighth inning with a game-tying homer and singled home Dansby Swanson with the winning run in the 12th to lift the Braves over the Nationals. Swanson had three hits and scored twice for Atlanta.

Miami 2 – N.Y. METS 0 (10 innings)… Pinch-runner Billy Hamilton scored an unearned run in the top of the 10th inning and Luke Williams added an RBI single as the Marlins outlasted the Mets. Miami starter Sandy Alcantara and his counterpart Taijuan Walker each threw seven shutout innings but neither got a decision.

Pittsburgh 8 – MILWAUKEE 6… Daniel Vogelbach’s three-run homer in the top of the ninth inning powered the Pirates past Brewers. Ke’Bryan Hayes, Michael Chavis and Oneil Cruz also went deep for Pittsburgh.

ST. LOUIS 4 – Philadelphia 3… The Cardinals scored single runs in their final three at-bats to squeeze past the Phillies. Tommy Edman’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth inning scored Dylan Carlson with the decisive run. Albert Pujols went 3-for-4 with a solo homer.

Colorado 3 – ARIZONA 2… Garrett Hampson smacked a two-run double and scored on
Connor Joe’s single in the top of the seventh inning as the Rockies rallied past the Diamondbacks. Germán Márquez allowed just two runs on three hits over seven innings.

San Francisco 12 – SAN DIEGO 0… Wilmer Flores had four hits, including a pair of homers, and four RBIs in leading the Giants past the Padres. Thairo Estrada added a two-run blast. Mike Yastrzemski had a couple of hits and drove in two runs. Lex Wood (6-7) pitched three-hit ball over seven innings and Yunior Marte completed the shutout.

L.A. DODGERS 11 – Chi. Cubs 9… The Dodgers erased a pair of five-run deficits in slugging their way past the Cubs. Trea Turner’s two-run single capped a five-run top of the third inning. Freddie Freeman homered and singled home a run.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
BALTIMORE 9 – L.A. Angels 5… Ramon Urias knocked in three runs with a pair of singles and the Orioles handled the Angels. Trey Mancini had a couple of hits, including a run-scoring single. Austin Voth (1-1) gave up two runs on four hits over five innings.

KANSAS CITY 5 – Cleveland 1… Zack Greinke (3-5) pitched three-hit ball over five scoreless innings and the Royals cruised past the Guardians. MJ Melendez’s two-run single provided all the offense Kansas City needed.

CHI. WHITE SOX 4 – Detroit 2… RBI singles by AJ Pollock and Eloy Jimenez in the bottom of the eighth inning carried the White Sox past the Tigers. Gavin Sheets went 2-for-3 with a solo homer.

Minnesota 6 – TEXAS 5… Ryan Jeffers homered and singled home a run, Jose Miranda added two RBIs and the Twins edged the Rangers. Byron Buxton also went deep for Minnesota.

Houston 6 – OAKLAND 1… Jake Odorizzi (4-2) held the Athletics to four hits over seven scoreless innings and the Astros breezed to the victory. Korey Lee singled home a run and doubled home two more. Kyle Tucker homered with the bases empty.

SEATTLE 6 – Toronto 5… Carlos Santana’s second homer of the game was a two-run shot in the bottom of the eighth inning that sent the Mariners past the Blue Jays for their eighth straight win. Toronto has lost nine of 10.

BOSTON 11 – N.Y. Yankees 6… The Red Sox erased a 6-2 deficit on their way past the Yankees. J.D. Martinez clubbed a game-tying two-run homer to cap a three-run bottom of the fifth inning. Trevor Story lined a bases-clearing double and scored a run in the seventh. Christian Vázquez homered and doubled home two runs for Boston.

INTERLEAGUE
CINCINNATI 10 – Tampa Bay 5… Jonathan India, Tyler Stephenson and Mike Moustakas blasted two-run homers during a seven-run bottom of the third inning and the Reds went on to double up on the Rays. Tyler Naquin added two RBIs.
