Colorado 2 – TAMPA BAY 1… Nathan MacKinnon and Artturi Lehkonen scored second-period goals as the Avalanche came from behind and held off the Lightning to capture the Stanley Cup with a Game 6 victory. Darcy Kuemper made 22 saves at goal as Colorado completed a 16-4 playoff run and lifted the Cup for the first time in 21 years. Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He scored three goals and assisted on four others in the six-game Final.
