NATIONAL LEAGUE
SAN DIEGO 10 – Arizona 4… The Padres jumped out to a 6-0 lead after the first two innings and coasted past the Diamondbacks. Austin Nola’s two-run single sparked a four-run bottom of the first inning. Jurickson Profar went 4-for-4 with a two-run single. Jorge Alfaro homered. Jesus Azocar had three hits and drove in two runs.

L.A. Dodgers 8 – CINCINNATI 4… The Dodgers overcame an early three-run deficit to double up on the Reds. Freddie Freeman smacked a tie-breaking homer to lead off the top of the seventh inning. Trayce Thompson doubled home two runs and came around to score on Trea Turner’s sacrifice fly in the eighth.

MIAMI 7 – Colorado 4… The Marlins got two-run homers from Garrett Cooper and Jazz Chisholm, Jr., along with a solo shot from Jorge Soler, in rolling past the Rockies. Pablo Lopez (5-3) allowed just an unearned run on four hits over seven innings.

Chi. Cubs 14 – PITTSBURGH 5… Ian Happ’s two-run homer capped a seven-run top of the second inning and the Cubs went on to pound the Pirates. Patrick Wisdom homered with a runner aboard and singled home two runs. Alfonso Rivas unloaded a grand slam.

ATLANTA 4 – San Francisco 3… Dansby Swanson’s leadoff homer sparked a three-run bottom of the ninth inning that lifted the Braves over the Giants. Adam Duvall singled home William Contreras with the winning run. The game featured a duel between Atlanta starter Charlie Morton and his counterpart Carlos Rodón but neither got a decision.

St. Louis 5 – MILWAUKEE 4… Nolan Arenado connected for a go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the sixth inning and the Cardinals hung on to edge the Brewers. Paul Goldschmidt homered with a runner aboard to open the scoring in the first.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
Toronto 9 – CHI. WHITE SOX 5… Bo Bichette unloaded a grand slam during a five-run top of the fourth inning that carried the Blue Jays past the White Sox. Teoscar Hernández homered with a runner aboard for Toronto. Alejandro Kirk singled home a run and homered with the bases empty.

BOSTON 6 – Detroit 2… Jaren Duran stroked a two-run double and Rob Refsnyder hit a two-run homer during a four-run bottom of the third inning and the Red Sox never looked back in their win over the Tigers. Alex Verdugo added a two-run single. Michael Wacha (6-1) gave up two runs on five hits over six innings.

N.Y. Yankees 5 – TAMPA BAY 4… The Yankees came from three runs down to upend the Rays. Jose Trevino cracked a go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the eighth inning. Aaron Judge hit a pair of solo homers.

Cleveland 11 – MINNESOTA 10… The Guardians used a four-run top of the ninth inning to get past the Twins. Owen Miller lifted a tie-breaking sacrifice fly. Oscar Gonzalez hit a two-run homer and singled home two runs. Amed Rosario had four hits, including a homer, and two RBIs. Austin Hedges also went deep.

Seattle 9 – OAKLAND 0… George Kirby (2-2) allowed just five hits over six innings and got plenty of support in the Mariners’ bombing of the Athletics. Jesse Winker homered with a runner aboard and singled in a run. Cal Raleigh also went deep.

L.A. ANGELS 5 – Kansas City 0… Shohei Ohtani (6-4) pitched two-hit ball and struck out 13 over eight innings before reliever Ryan Tepera completed the Angels’ shutout of the Mariners. David MacKinnon lifted a sacrifice fly and produced a run-scoring single. Luis Rangifo and Taylor Ward contributed RBI doubles.

INTERLEAGUE
HOUSTON 5 – N.Y. Mets 3… The Astros opened with a four-run bottom of the first inning and cruised past the Mets. Alex Bregman homered with a runner aboard and Yordan Alvarez added the first of his two solo shots.

TEXAS 4 – Philadelphia 2… Kole Calhoun singled home Corey Seager with a tie-breaking run in the bottom of the third inning and added an RBI double in the fifth to push the Rangers past the Phillies. Jon Gray (3-3) allowed two runs on four hits over 5-2/3 innings.

BALTIMORE 7 – Washington 0 (6 innings)… The Orioles blanked the Nationals in a game that was halted after six innings due to rain. Tyler Wells (5-4) pitched three-hit ball over five innings. Austin Hays homered and lined a two-run double. Trey Mancini homered with a runner aboard. Anthony Santander also went deep.
