NATIONAL LEAGUE
Atlanta 9 – WASHINGTON 5… Dansby Swanson hit a two-run homer and singled home two runs in leading the Braves past the Nationals. Marcel Ozuna homered with a runner aboard. Travis d’Arnaud, Adam Duval and Michael Harris II added solo blasts.
PHILADELPHIA 3 – Miami 2… Didi Gregorius singled home a tying run and Rhys Hoskins added an RBI double in the bottom of the eighth inning to rally the Phillies past the Marlins. Bryce Harper opened the scoring with an RBI double in the third.
ST. LOUIS 7 – Pittsburgh 5… The Pirates rallied from five runs down after 5-1/2 innings to top the Pirates. Paul Goldschmidt smacked a tie-breaking homer to lead off the bottom of the seventh inning. Brendan Donovan doubled home two runs and Dylan Carlson belted a three-run homer during a five-run the sixth.
San Diego 4 – CHI. CUBS 1… The Padres came up with three runs in the top of the eighth inning to get past the Cubs in a weather-delayed contest. Manny Machado singled home the tie-breaking run and scored on Eric Hosmer’s two-run double.
Cincinnati 5 – ARIZONA 4… The Reds overcame a three-run deficit to down the Diamondbacks. Brandon Drury cracked a game-tying three-run homer in the top of the fifth inning and Mike Moustakas drove in the decisive run with a sixth inning single.
AMERICAN LEAGUE
TORONTO 11 – Baltimore 1… Vladimir Guerrero, Jr., homered and knocked in three runs as the Blue Jays rolled past the Orioles. Santiago Espinal added three three RBIs with a pair of singles. Alex Manoah (8-1) pitched one-hit ball over six innings.
Chi. White Sox 9 – DETROIT 5… Jose Abreu blasted a pair of two-run homers in leading the White Sox past the Tigers. Luis Robert singled home a go-ahead run in the top of the fifth inning. Harold Castro went 3-for-5 with two RBIs.
TEXAS 5 – Houston 3… The Rangers erased a 3-0 deficit in rallying past the Astros. Ezequiel Duran singled home the tying run and scored on Brad Miller’s single during a three-run bottom of the eighth inning.
Minnesota 3 – SEATTLE 2… Byron Buxton smacked a two-run homer in the top of the first inning and Max Kepler’s run-scoring single in the seventh proved to be the difference as the Twins edged the Mariners.
INTERLEAGUE
SAN FRANCISCO 6 – Kansas City 2… The Giants cruised past the Royals after spotting them an early two-run lead. Thairo Estrada singled home a tie-breaking run in the bottom of the sixth inning. Brandon Crawford added a two-run double in the seventh. Alex Wood (4-5) allowed two runs on four hits over six innings.
