Blues Fall To Bruins

Boston 3 – ST. LOUIS 2 (OT)… Charlie McAvoy lit the lamp 48 seconds into overtime to send the Bruins past the Blues. Jake DeBrusk and Taylor Hall also scored for Boston.

 

TORONTO 5 – Philadelphia 2… William Nylander scored his career-high 32nd goal of the season and had an assist as the Maple Leafs skated past the Flyers. Ilya Mikheyev also had a goal and an assist. Goalie Jack Campbell made 36 saves.

Minnesota 2 – MONTREAL 0… Goalie Cam Talbot stopped all 26 shots for his third shutout of the season and the Wild clipped the Canadiens. Kevin Fiala had a goal and an assist..

Detroit 4 – TAMPA BAY 3… Jakub Vrana’s second goal of the game broke a third-period tie and the Red Wings held off the Lightning. Lucas Raymond and Oskar Sundqvist also scored for Detroit. Goalie Thomas Greiss made 38 stops.

N.Y. RANGERS 3 – Winnipeg 0… Igor Shesterkin made it back-to-back shutouts with the blanking of the Jets. The Rangers’ goalie made 31 saves. Ryan Strome found the net twice for New York.

Florida 3 – N.Y. ISLANDERS 2 (OT)… Aleksander Barkov recorded his third career hat trick with the winning goal 20 seconds into overtime as the Panthers outlasted he Islanders. Jonathan Huberdeau had three assists. Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky made 24 saves.

NASHVILLE 3 – Calgary 2 (SO)… Mikael Granlund scored the lone goal in the shootout as the Predators outlasted the Flames. Matt Duchene scored his 40th goal of the season.

Los Angeles 2 – ANAHEIM 1… Phillip Danault netted a tie-breaking goal early in the third period and the Kings made it stand in topping the Ducks. Jonathan Quick made 29 saves at goal.

Ottawa 4 – VANCOUVER 3 (SO)… Adam Gaudette scored the winning goal in the fifth round of the shootout and the Senators ended the Canucks’ six-game winning streak. Alex Formenton scored twice in regulation for Ottawa. Nikita Zaitsev had two assists. J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser each had a goal and an assist.

SAN JOSE 3 – Columbus 2… The Sharks snapped their 10-game winless streak by holding off the Blue Jackets. Scott Reedy scored two goals. Rudolfs Balcers also found the net.
