NBA Playoffs Monday 4-18

NBA PLAYOFFS FIRST-ROUND SERIES…
PHILADELPHIA 112 – Toronto 97…  The 76ers led by as many as 27 points in rolling past the Raptors to take a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference series. Joel Embiid powered his way to 31 points and 11 rebounds, Tyrese Maxey added 23 points. Tobias Harris finished with 20 points and 10 boards. The series shifts to Toronto for Game 3 tomorrow.

DALLAS 110 – Utah 104… The Mavericks came from 10 points down in the second half to top the Jazz and even their first-round Western Conference playoff series at a game apiece. Jalen Brunson poured in a career-high 41 points. Maxi Kleber made eight of 11 3-point attempts on his way to 25 points. The series moves to Salt Lake City for Game 3 on Thursday. Utah has beaten Dallas 11 straight times on its home court.

GOLDEN STATE 126 – Denver 106… Stephen Curry came off the bench to score 34 points and the Warriors cruised past the Nuggets to take a 2-0 lead in their first-round Western Conference playoff series. Golden State also got 29 points from Jordan Poole and 21 from Klay Thompson, Denver’s Nikola Jokic had 26 points and 11 rebounds before being ejected with 7 minutes left following a second technical foul. The series shifts to Denver for Game 3 on Thursday night.
