Blues Win Ninth Straight

St. Louis 8 – NASHVILLE 3… The Blues scored seven second-period goals and never looked back in thrashing the Predators for their ninth straight win. Calle Rosen, Brayden Schenn and Jordan Kyrou scored two goals apiece. Goalie Jordan Binnington made 33 saves.

 

Florida 6 – DETROIT 1… Anton Lundell scored a pair of goals and the Panthers cruised past the Red Wings for their 10th straight win. Goalie Spencer Knight made 33 saves.

Buffalo 5 – PHILADELPHIA 3… Victor Olofsson and Tage Thompson netted two goals apiece and the Sabres topped the Flyers 5-3 to sweep a weekend home-and-home series. Dustin Tokorski stopped 32 shots at goal.

MINNESOTA 5 – San Jose 4… Jared Spurgeon scored his second goal of the game 1:05 into overtime to lift the Wild over the Sharks. Minnesota wrapped up its 12th playoff berth with the victory. Marc-Andre Fleury made 26 saves at goal.

TORONTO 4 – N.Y. Islanders 2… The Maple Leafs doubled up on the Islanders and set franchise records for victories and points. They got goals from William Nylander, Mitch Marner, Pierre Engvall and David Kampf. Goalie Jack Campbell made 27 stops.

ANAHEIM 6 – Columbus 4…  Troy Terry found the net twice in leading the Ducks past the Blue Jackets. Trevor Zegras had a goal and an assist. John Gibson made 29 saves at goal.
