Blues Pick Up Road Win Over Bruins

St. Louis 4 – BOSTON 2… Vladimir Tarasenko netted a pair of goals and the Blues came from behind to down the Bruins. Torey Krug and David Perron each had a goal and an assist. Goalie Ville Husso stopped 39 saves to win his fifth straight start.

 

Buffalo 5 – TORONTO 2… Rasmus Dahlin and Rasmus Asplund each had a goal and an assist and the Sabres became the first team to beat the Maple Leafs three times this season. Alex Tuch and Victor Olofsson each assisted on two goals.

FLORIDA 3 – Anaheim 2 (OT)… Jonathan Huberdeau found at 3:41 of overtime to send the Panthers past the Ducks for their eighth straight victory. Anthony Duclair scored twice in regulation.

Carolina 4 – N.Y. RANGERS 2… Seth Jarvis and Jordan Staal scored third-period goals to send the Hurricanes past the Rangers in a showdown for first place in the Metropolitan Division. Sebastian Aho had a goal and two assists. Frederik Andersen stopped 28 shots at goal.

WASHINGTON 9 – Philadelphia 2… Alex Ovechkin scored for a fourth consecutive game and raised his goal total to 46 on the season and the Capitals won their fourth straight in routing the Flyers. Lars Eller scored twice.

Ottawa 4 – DETROIT 1… Tim Stützle scored two goals and assisted on another as the Senators skated past the Red Wins to end a three-game skid. Austin Watson added a goal and an assist.

N.Y. ISLANDERS 5 – Pittsburgh 4 (SO)… Kyle Palmier scored the lone goal in the shootout to lift the Islanders over the Penguins. Zach Parise and Josh Bailey each scored twice in regulation.

MINNESOTA 5 – Edmonton 1… Kevin Fiala and Ryan Hartman each scored a pair of goals and the Wild skated past the Oilers. Goalie Cam Talbot made 27 saves.

NASHVILLE 1 – San Jose 0 (OT)… Ryan Johansen lit the lamp at 3:18 of overtime to push the Predators past the Sharks. Juuse Saros made 25 saves in his fourth shutout of the season.

Los Angeles 5 – CHICAGO 2… The Kings handled the Blackhawks to halt their three-game losing streak. Blake Lizotte scored two goals. Phillip Danault had a goal and an assist.

CALGARY 5 – Seattle 3… The Flames scored four unanswered goals in the third period to upend the Kraken for their fifth straight win. Matthew Tkachuk scored three goals to reach a career-best 37 for the season. Noah Hanifin had a goal and an assist.

DALLAS 1 – Tampa Bay 0… Goalie Scott Wedgewood stopped all 25 shots as the Stars clipped the Lightning. Roope Hintz scored the game’s only goal with 4:50 remaining.

VANCOUVER 5 – Vegas 4 (OT)… Quinn Hughes scored 51 seconds into overtime and the Canucks kept their slim playoff hopes alive with a win over the Golden Knights. Elias Pettersson had goal and two assists. Bo Horvat added a goal and an assist.

New Jersey 6 – ARIZONA 2… Tomas Tatar and Jesper Boqvist scored 22 seconds apart late in the second period to give the Devils the lead for good in their win over the Coyotes. Yegor Sharangovich scored twice in the game’s five minutes and had an assist.
