Robert Joseph Youngblood, 70, of Unionville, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at Putnam County Memorial Hospital in Unionville.
Born January 13, 1952 in Vandalia, Missouri, Robert was the son of the late Cecil Laverne and Mary Elizabeth (Hager) Youngblood. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Hansen. On April 4, 1972, Robert married Patricia Jennings and to this union three children were born. On October 12, 2002, Robert married Eva Faye Kiger.
Bob is survived by his wife Eva Faye of the home; one son, Daniel Youngblood of Independence, MO; two daughters and sons-in-law, Holly and Bobby Jones of Pleasant Hill, IL, and Mary Jo and Steven Graves of New London, MO; one step-son, Ben Kiger of Warrensburg, MO; one step-daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Chris Wertz of Huntsville, MO; two sisters, Marjorie Schulte of Parry, MO, and Rosalie Oberhaus of Vandalia, MO; six grandchildren, Lauren Jones, Brittany Maple, Elizabeth Breshears, Carli Youngblood, Amy Graves, and Olivia Graves; two great-grandchildren, Maddilyn Maple, and Hudson Brocaille; three step grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Bob received his education at Mark Twain High School in Center, Missouri. He resided in Center, Hannibal, New London, and Unionville where he worked in carpentry. He loved woodworking and fishing.
Bob was a member of Saverton Baptist Church in Saverton, MO.
Public visitation will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Donnie Schulte presiding. Cremation will follow the service and inurnment will take place at a later date at Refuge Cemetery northeast of Kirksville, MO.
