KHS Tigers Beat Marshall On Senior Night

It was the Isaac Danielson show as the Kirksville Tigers put away Marshall 68-42 on Senior Night at Tiger Gym. Danielson exploded for 36 points, 15 of those in the 3rd quarter. KHS used a 12-0 run from the late moments of the 2nd quarter through the early moments of the 3rd to turn a 20-18 lead into a 32-18 lead. The next closest Tiger was Keaton Anderson with 9 points, 8 for Camden Dempsay, all in the 4th to help expand the lead. The Tigers had a rough night at the free throw line, only going 4 out of 12 in the first three quarters, but went 9 out of 12 in the final frame. KHS gets to 19-4 on the year, 7-3 in NCMC. Next, the Tigers get a first round bye in the Class 4 District 8 tournament in Centralia as the number 2 seed. They’ll play Wednesday, March 2nd at 7:30 against the winner of Monday’s game between Macon and Centralia. We’ll have it for you at around 7:10.
