Kirksville’s Jaden Ballinger will wrestle for the Class 2 State Championship Saturday night at 170 pounds after winning his semifinal match over Ethan Ogden of Ste. Genevieve by Fall in 4:34. Ballinger will take on Zach Lewis of Moberly for the championship. Hunter Tarr and Colton Hannah both lost their semifinal matches, but can still place in the wrestlebacks. Jaden Crisp won his wrestleback match Friday night and can still place. Ben Ammerman, Lane Patterson and Dominic Cahalan were all eliminated after Friday night’s action. KHS is in 4th place in the team standings with 73 points, Pleasant Hill has a commanding lead with 126 points.
