The Truman State women returned to the win column with a 73-61 victory over William Jewell (Mo) College in the regular season home finale on Thursday night.
Ellie Weltha and Hannah Belanger both topped 20 points and Weltha added 14 rebounds to go along with her game-high 21 as Truman (17-8; 13-4 GLVC) had to fend off hot shooting Jewell from outside.
The Bulldogs will be off on Saturday before heading out on the road next week to Southwest Baptist and Rockhurst on the Thursday/Saturday swing to wrap up the regular season.
