The Kirksville Tigers have nine wrestlers still alive at the state meet after Thursday’s action. Six Tigers won their first round matches and advanced to Friday’s quarterfinals. Jaden Crisp, Hunter Tarr, Dominic Cahalan, Jaden Ballinger, Colton Hannah and Bryce Kertz all advanced. Chance McKim, Ben Ammerman and Lane Patterson all lost their first round matches but won their wrestleback matches. Jack Thomas lost twice and has been eliminated. The Tigers are third in the team standings with 29 points. Pleasant Hill leads with 41 1/2.
