The Kirksville Tigers started off slow, but caught fire in the 2nd quarter and beat Chillicothe Wednesday 51-28. KHS outscored the Hornets 16-5 in the 2nd to take a 21-11 lead at the half. The Tigers outscored the Hornets 18-6 in the fourth to put it away. A nice game from Camden Dempsay had a nice game with 13 points, Keaton Anderson also with 13, Isaac Danielson finished with 11. Griff Bonderer scored 22 of Chillicothe’s 28 points. KHS gets to 17-4 on the season and will be part two of Saturday’s doubleheader with Hannibal at Tiger Gym, varsity coverage around 2:10.
