St. Louis 5 – OTTAWA 2… Vladimir Tarasenko found the net twice and had an assist as the Blues skated past the Senators. Brayden Schenn, Robert Thomas and Oskar Sundqivst also scored for St. Louis.
Tampa Bay 6 – NEW JERSEY 3… The Lighting erased an early two-goal deficit to double up on the Devils. Victor Hedman, Nikita Kucherov and Pierre-Edouard Bellemare scored in a 3:04 span of the third period. Steven Stamkos and Alex Killorn had scored in a 41-second span late in the second period to tie the game.
PITTSBURGH 5 – Philadelphia 4 (OT)… Kris Letang lit the lamp 31 seconds into overtime to send the Penguins past the Flyers for their fourth straight win. Sidney Crosby scored his 500th career goal in the first period. Jake Guentzel and Chad Ruhwedel scored 18 seconds apart in the third period to erase a two-goal deficit.
BUFFALO 6 – N.Y. Islanders 3… The Sabres made it back-to-backs wins by handling the Islanders. Victor Olofsson scored two goals. Alex Tuch added a goal and assist. Dylan Cozens had three assists and Peyton Krebs had two. Goalie Dustin Tokarski made 30 saves.
N.Y. RANGERS 2 – Boston 1 (SO)… K’Andre Miller’s goal in the ninth round of a shootout lifted the Rangers over the Bruins for their third straight win. Filip Chytil scored the tying goal in the third period for New York. Igor Shesterkin stopped 31 shots at goal.
Washington 4 – NASHVILLE 1… The Capitals closed with three straight goals in the third period to put away the Predators. Alex Ovechkin netted the final two goals. Goalie Ilya Samsonov made 33 saves.
CALGARY 6 – Columbus 2… The Flames scored twice in each period to blow away the Blue Jackets. Elias Lindholm scored one goal and assisted on two others.
Dallas 4 – COLORADO 1… Joe Pavelski scored two power-play goals and had two assists in leading the Stars past the Avalanche. Jake Oettinger made 46 stops at goal.
Edmonton 5 – LOS ANGELES 2… Kailer Yamamoto scored a go-ahead goal with 4:46 remaining and the Oilers got empty-netters from Zach Hyman and Evander Kane in skating past the Kings. Connor McDavid had a goal and an assist. Goalie Mike Smith made 32 saves.
