The Kirksville Lady Tigers led from start to finish and defeated the Hannibal Lady Pirates 50-22 Tuesday at Hannibal. The KHS defense didn’t allow a basket until early in the 2nd quarter. The led 14-1 at the end of the first quarter, 24-10 at halftime and outscored Hannibal 12-4 in the 3rd to effectively put it away. Elli Porter led all scorers with 18 points including 4 three-pointers, Channing Totta scored 14 with 4 three’s of her own. Corinne Vorkink finished with 8 points. KHS forced 17 turnovers to climb to 15-2 on the year and 4-1 in the NCMC. Next, it’s another matchup with Mexico Friday, this time at Mexico.
