Sandra Kay “Sandy” Hunolt

Sandra Kay “Sandy” Hunolt, 74, of rural Edina, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the LaBelle Manor in LaBelle, Missouri.

Sandy was born March 31, 1947, in Edina, Missouri, the daughter of Ernest Cecil and Helen Louise Phinney Shultz.

She was raised in the Millport area near Rutledge, Missouri.

On November 18, 1966 Sandy married Donald Lee Miller of Gorin, Missouri and to this union five children were born.

She worked at Motorola in Quincy, Illinois for several years. Then moved to Memphis, Missouri where she worked a number of years at the Sunrise motel, Pepsi Bottling Company, Micro Energy, Scotland County nursing home, and Hollisters in Kirksville, Missouri before retiring.

On November 25, 2006, in Edina, Missouri, Sandy married Robert Joseph “Bobby” Hunolt and they had celebrated fifteen years together.

Sandy and Bobby made the farm south of Edina their home. She enjoyed yard sales, cake decorating, gardening and the farmers market, trips to the casino; but most of all she loved spending time with family and baking cookies for her grandchildren.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Bobby Hunolt of Edina, Missouri; a daughter, Melanie Dawn and husband Justin Morgret of Clark, Missouri; a son, Ryan Troy and his wife Jessica Miller of Gorin, Missouri; a daughter Andrea Lynn and Martin Blake of Edina, Missouri; a step-son, Rob and his wife Pam Hunolt of LaBelle, Missouri; a step-daughter, Michelle and her husband Paul Stevenson of Weatherby Lake, Missouri; two brothers, Roger and Linda Shultz of Maywood, Missouri, and Randy and Amy Jo Shultz of Edina, Missouri; two sisters, Judy and George Cunningham of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and Sue Ellen and Mark Lubel of Porter, Texas; numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, and step great grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Helen Shultz; two daughters in infancy, Michelle Ann and Monica Kay; and a brother, Richard Shultz.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2022, at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri, with the family receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Pauline Cemetery in Rutledge, Missouri.

Pastor Graig Connell will officiate and casket bearers will be family and friends.
