Blues Rally To Beat Seattle

ST. LOUIS 2 – Seattle 1… Two third-period goals lifted the Blues to a come-from-behind win over the Kraken. Ville Husso made 31 saves at goal.

 

BOSTON 3 – Philadelphia 2… David Pastrnak recorded his 11th career hat trick in leading the Bruins past the Flyers. Pastrnak’s third goal came on a power play and broke a second-period tie. Goalie Tuukka Rask made 24 saves in his return from hip surgery. The loss was Philadelphia’s sixth in a row.

TAMPA BAY 4 – Vancouver 2… Steven Stamkos scored his team-leading 18th goal to highlight the Lightning’s win over the Canucks. Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 24 shots at goal.

Columbus 6 – CAROLINA 0… Goalie Elvis Merzlikins stopped all 31 shots in the Bruins’ shutout of the Hurricanes. Yegor Chinakhov found the net twice. Jake Bean and Eric Robinson each had two assists.

Winnipeg 3 – DETROIT 0… Goalie Connor Hellebuyck made 33 saves in his second shutout of the season as the Jets blanked the Red Wings. Andrew Copp found the net twice.

N.Y. ISLANDERS 3 – New Jersey 2… Mathew Barzal netted a tie-breaking goal with 4:53 remaining and the Islanders hung on to edge the Devils. Zach Parise set up two goals.

Buffalo 4 – NASHVILLE 1… Jeff Skinner scored two goals as the Sabres skated past the Predators to snap a six-game losing streak. Goalie Aaron Dell made 29 stops.

CHICAGO 3 – Montreal 2 (OT)… Philipp Kurashev scored 2:24 into overtime to lift the Blackhawks over the Canadiens. Patrick Kane netted a game-tying power-play goal in the third period. Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury made 27 saves.

Ottawa 4 – CALGARY 1…  Nick Paul scored a pair of first-period goals and the Senators cruised past the Flames in their first game since New Year’s Day. Goalie Matt Murray made 27 saves in notching his first victory of the season.

LOS ANGELES 6 – Pittsburgh 2… The King closed with four straight goals in the third period to put away the Penguins. Anze Kopitar scored two goals and set up another. Sean Durzi added a goal and two assists.

N.Y. Rangers 3 – SAN JOSE 0… Goalie Igor Shesterkin stopped 37 shots in shutting out the Sharks. Chris Kreider scored two goals. Braden Schneider found the net in his NHL debut.
