Tigers Outlast Macon

The Kirksville Tigers beat a tough Macon team 67-58 Tuesday at Tiger Gym. KHS went on a 10-0 run from late in the 2nd quarter on into the 3rd. The Tigers outscored Macon 34-25 in their historically strong 2nd half. Isaac Danielson led all scorers with 29 points, 21 in the first half. Ike also went 6 for 7 at the free throw line, including 3 out of 4 in the fourth quarter. Keaton Anderson had 14 points, Cole Kelly with 10. The Tigers forced 19 Macon turnovers as the Tigers survive a rough, physical game They climb to 12-1 on the year, and are scheduled to travel to Hannibal for a varsity twin bill, then are scheduled to face Macon again in the championship of the Highland Tournament Saturday.
