The Kirksville Lady Tigers took an early 23-7 lead over Macon and held on to win 45-34 Tuesday at Tiger Gym. Macon played without the services of star Lexi Miller who has a knee injury, but KHS forced the rest of the team into turning the ball over 17 times while only committing 8 turnovers of their own. Corinne Vorkink led all scorers with 17 points, Channing Totta had 11. KHS climbs to 11-2 on the year and are scheduled to travel to Hannibal Friday as part of a doubleheader, then are scheduled to take on Macon again Saturday in the championship game of the Highland Tournament.
