Henry Thomas Lohaus, age 88 of Edina, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at his residence in Edina. He was born June 24, 1933, in Edina, MO, the son of Henry John and May Eula Shull Lohaus.
He was united in marriage to Sharlee McCarty Mason on November 9, 1969 in Memphis, MO, and to this union two children were born Barbara Hocker and Lill V. Walton.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara May Hocker of Edina, MO, and Lill Viola (Randy) Walton on Edina, MO, two step-children Tina Longano of Kirksville, MO, and David (Brenda) mason of Hurdland, MO, twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents and a son-in-law Chris Longano.
Henry received his education in the Fox school at Hurdland, MO. He served his country in the United States Army. Henry was engaged in farming in the Hurdland area most of his life. He enjoyed deer hunting and was a member of the Edina Assembly of God Church.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Burial with full military honors will be in the Linville Cemetery. Reverend David Atkins will officiate the services.
Musical selections will be Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art.
Casket bearers will be Dalton Hocker, Brian Mason, Brandon Walton, Bradey Walton, Austin Walton and Andrew Walton.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 28th from 1 p.m. till time of services at 3 p.m. in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
