NEW JERSEY 3 – Philadelphia 0… Goalie Mackenzie Blackwood stopped all 25 shots and the Devils ended a four-game skid in handing the Flyers their 10th straight loss. Jesper Bratt scored a second-period goal and assisted on a power-play goal by rookie Dawson Mercer later in the period.

Colorado 7 – N.Y. RANGERS 3… Logan O’Connor scored two goals within a 22-second span of a five-goal second period that carried the Avalanche past the Rangers and ended New York’s seven-game winning streak. Mikko Rantanen also netted a pair of goals for Colorado. Darcy Kuemper made 26 saves at goal.

VANCOUVER 2 – Boston 1 (SO)… J.T. Miller scored the decisive goal in the shootout to send the Canucks past the Bruins. Brock Boeser netted a second-period goal. Thatcher Demko made 35 stops at goal.

VEGAS 5 – Dallas 4… The Golden Knights closed with three unanswered goals in the third period to upend the Stars. Max Pacioretty netted the tie-breaking goal with 4:6 remaining. Mark Stone found the net twice.
