NBA Scores Wednesday 11-17

NBA SCOREBOARD…
CHARLOTTE 97 – Washington 87… The Hornets took control with a big third quarter and handed the Wizards their first loss in six games. Terry Rozier scored 19 points to lead a balanced scoring attack. LaMelo Ball had 11 points and 14 assists, Mason Plumlee added 11 points and 13 rebounds.

DETROIT 97 – Indiana 89… The Pistons came up big in the fourth quarter to down the Pacers. Jeremi Grant led the way with 19 points.

ATLANTA 110 – Boston 99…  John Collins scored 20 points and grabbed 12 boards in leading the Hawks past the Celtics for their third straight win. Trae Young added 18 points and 11 assists.

BROOKLYN 109 – Cleveland 99… Four different players scored at least 20 points as the Nets fought off the short-handed Cavaliers. James Harden pumped in 27 points, while LaMarcus Aldridge scored 24, Kevin Durant added 23 and Patty Mills tossed in 21.

MIAMI 113 – New Orleans 98… Jimmy Butler racked up 31 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in his return from an ankle injury and the Heat handled the Pelicans despite playing without starters Bam Adebayo and Kyle Lowry. Tyler Herro scored 17 of his 19 points in the second half.

Orlando 104 – NEW YORK 98… All five starters scored in double figures as the Magic topped the Knicks. Cole Anthony had 15 points and 10 rebounds. Mo Bamba added 12 points and 11 boards. Terrence Ross delivered 19 points off the bench.

MILWAUKEE 109 – L.A. Lakers 102… The Bucks were too much down the stretch in beating the Lakers. Giannis Antetokounmpo poured in 47 points, Khris Middleton scored 16 points after missing the previous eight games due to COVID-19.

MINNESOTA 107 – Sacramento 97…. Anthony Edwards scored 16 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Timberwolves past the Kings for their first win in 10 games. Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points.

OKLAHOMA CITY 101 – Houston 89… The Thunder got 34 points from Lu Dort in handing the Rockets their 13th straight loss. Dort made 14 of 22 shots and had the second-best points total of his career. Josh Giddey finished with 12 points and 10 boards.

PHOENIX 105 – Dallas 98… The Suns made it 10 straight wins by downing a Mavericks team that was playing without Luka Doncic. Devin Booker scored 24 points. Deandre Ayton had 19 points and 13 rebounds. Chris Paul had 14 assists to go with his seven points.

PORTLAND 112 – Chicago 97… The Trail Blazers erased a 20-point first-half deficit to upend the Bulls. Damian Lillard finished with 22 points and 10 assists. Jusuf Nurkic added 18 points and 12 boards.
