Blues Drop Fourth Straight

Arizona 3 – ST. LOUIS 2… Barrett Hayton scored a pair of goals and the Coyotes hung on to hand the Blues their fourth straight loss. Goalie Scott Wedgewood made 34 saves.

 

TORONTO 3 – Nashville 0… Goalie Jack Campbell made 24 saves in his third shutout of the season and the Maple Leafs breezed past the Predators. Auston Matthews and David Kampf each had a goal and an assist.

FLORIDA 6 – N.Y. Islanders 1… Six different players found the net as the Panthers skated past the Islanders. Patric Hornqvist had a goal and an assist. Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 27 shots at goal.

N.Y. RANGERS 3 – Montreal 2… The Rangers made it four straight wins with their defeat of the Canadiens. They got goals from Chris Kreider, Kaapo Kakko and Julien Gauthier. Goalie Igor Shesterkin made 31 saves.

PHILADELPHIA 2 – Calgary 1 (OT)… Cam Atkinson found the net 45 seconds into overtime to lift the Flyers over the Flames. Kevin Hayes tied the game with a second-period goal. Carter Hart stopped 26 shots at goal.

Buffalo 2 – PITTSBURGH 1… Kyle Okposo and Colin Miller scored second-period goals and the Sabres held off the Penguins. Goalie Dustin Tokarski stopped a career-high 45 shots.

San Jose 4 – MINNESOTA 1… Timo Meier had a goal and an assist to lead the Sharks in their win over the Wild. Logan Couture and Rudolfs Balcers each had two assists. James Reimer made 26 stops at goal.

WINNIPEG 5 – Edmonton 2… The Jets used a three-goal second period to build a 4-0 lead and coasted past the Oilers. Five different players found the net. Josh Morrissey set up two goals. Goalie Connor Hellebuyck made 32 saves.

DALLAS 5 – Detroit 2… Jason Robertson scored a pair of goals as the Stars downed the Red Wings. Goalie Jake Oettinger stopped 28 shot in his season debut.

Carolina 4 – VEGAS 2… Seth Jarvis and Vincent Trocheck scored third-period goals to push the Hurricanes past the Golden Knights after Carolina blew an early 2-0 lead. Trocheck also assisted on Tony DeAngelo’s first-period goal. Sebastian Aho had a goal and an assist.

ANAHEIM 3 – Washington 2 (OT)… Trevor Zegraz’s second goal of the game came at 4:14 of overtime and gave the Ducks a hard-fought win over the Capitals. Cam Fowler opened the scoring in the first period. John Gibson stopped 27 shots at goal.
